Emily Borne
(Woman in Audience, Choir Member, Cemetary Inhabitant) Emily is in
8th grade at Archbishop Chapelle High School. This is her debut on
the Genesian stage. Emily has been performing in Community Theater,
St. Benilde School plays and Summer Theater for Jefferson Performing
Arts since she was 8 years old. Emily is very involved at Chapelle,
she is in “Show Stoppers”, Beta Club, and plays intramural sports.
Emily is excited to be able to follow in her mother’s footsteps!
Thank you Mr. G, for giving me the opportunity to be in Our Town.
I look forward to many years of performing with the Genesian
Players!
Emily Brauninger
(Julia Gibbs) has been a Genesians for 4 years. Her first role was
Mercy Lewis in The Crucible. She loves Genesians. It has
become a part of her family and she can’t wait to see what else Mr.
G has in store for us. Genesian Players allows her to create another
world and she finds this most enjoyable.
Brandon Campbell
(Wally Webb ) is a new Rummel eighth grader, and this is his first
year being involved in any drama club. He is also a blackbelt in
taekwondo. He looks forward to being in the Genesian players
throughout his time at Rummel. His favorite thing about Genesian
players is watching and being in the plays with the other Genesian
players.
Ashleigh Castin
(Choir Member, Cemetary Inhabitant) Ashleigh is a Cabrini eight
grader, and this is her first year being a Genesian.
Colette Childress
(Lady in the Box) is a freshman at Archbishop Chapelle High School.
This is her first performance with the Genesian Players, but she
looks forward to many more.
Natalie Desselle
(Mrs. Soames) Natalie is a sophomore at Mount Carmel Academy and
this is her first year as a Genesian. Natalie is a member of Campus
Ministry at school and has appeared on other stages since fourth
grade. Natalie is very excited to be a Genesian and hopes to remain
one for the next two years.
Jessie Dupuy
(Emily Webb) is a junior at Archbishop Chapelle High School and
loves her 2nd year as a Rummel Genesian. You might recognize her as
Celeste in The Song of Bernadette or as LaLa in The last
Night of Ballyhoo. Jessie is a Rummel cheerleader, and is on
Chapelle’s student council, retreat team, campus ministry, and is
involved in other clubs and activities. She attended St. Matthew the
Apostle grammar school. Jessie enjoys Pina Coladas and getting
caught in the rain.
Stephanie M. Eshleman
(Mrs. Soames) a junior at St. Mary’s Dominican High School, has
appeared on stage as Makenzie in Talented Girl at Catholic
High School in Pensacola, Florida. Stephanie is excited to make her
Genesian debut as Mrs. Soames in Our Town, the same show that was
her older brother’s, Roch E.G. Eshleman’s, first Genesian play many
a year ago. She intends on perusing her degree in Athletic Training
at Nicholls State University.
Carly Ferguson
(Student Director) Carly is currently an eighth grader at Dominican
High School. This is her first play with the Genesians. She is very
honored and would like to thank Mr. G and everyone in the play for
making her feel so welcome. Break a leg everyone!
Lauryn Gilardi
(Rebecca Gibbs) is a sophomore at Archbishop Chapelle High School.
This is her third Genesian play. She played a crowd member in
The Song of Bernadette and Laurie in Brighton Beach Memoirs.
She has also performed in shows outside of the Genesian Players. She
is also part of the Showstoppers at Chapelle.
Katharine Harris
(Rebecca Gibbs) a sophomore, has been attending Ursuline since
kindergarten. In grade school she performed Lucy in You’re a Good
Man, Charlie Brown under the direction of Mr. G. This is
Katharine’s first time doing a show with the Genesian Players. She
comes from a long line of Genesians. Katharine’s mother, father and
three sisters were all Genesians. She is happy to be apart of the
family acting tradition.
Phillip Hedrick (Doc Gibbs) is
a senior at Archbishop Rummel who is entering his second year as a
Genesian player. Our Town is his second production with the
organization. He could have also been seen in Song of Bernadette.
As a senior Phillip is an avid member in other organizations here at
Rummel. As a member of Big Brothers, Campus Ministry, and
Eucharistic Ministers Phillip feels he is giving something back to
the Archbishop Rummel community.
Chad Hoffman
(House Manager) is a junior at Rummel and is in his third year as a
Genesian. Chad is also a Raider Ambassador and a member of Mu Alpha
Theta. He is also an honor student.
Shay Ives
(Sam Craig) A junior, Shay is a third year Genesian. Stealing the
hearts of the pink ladies in Grease, discovering a spring
given by the Virgin Mary herself in The Song of Bernadette,
and getting blamed for everything in Brighton Beach Memoirs,
Shay is playing Sam Craig in this production of Our Town. He
is also involved in Student Council at Archbishop Rummel High
School. He thanks you for coming and hopes you enjoy the show.
Cameron Kihnel
(Howie Newsome) Cameron is in the 11th grade at Archbishop Rummel
High School. This is his debut on the Genesian stage. Cameron has
performed on stage at St. Christopher School in the 7th and 8th
grade. Cameron is an outgoing student, and enjoys going to school.
He is thankful to be able to be back in performing arts. Thanks Mr.
Guajardo for the role in the play it was a blast, and I hope to be
involved in the Genesian players for the next two years.
Claire Laurent
(Mrs. Webb) is a sophomore at Archbishop Chapelle High School. She
attended Ascension of Our Lord elementary school where she became
active in community theatre. This is Claire’s third Genesian
production. She has also been seen as Madame Pernet in The Song
of Bernadette and a pink lady in Grease. Claire is
involved in Student Council and True Life, as well as being a
Chapelle Ambassador officer and the secretary of Showstoppers.
Emily Laurent
(Woman in Audience, Choir Member, Cemetery Inhabitant) is an 8th
grader at Archbishop Chapelle High School. She previously attended
Ascension of Our Lord School in LaPlace. This is her first
appearance with the Archbishop Rummel Genesian Players. She enjoys
playing saxophone and dancing and the clubs Truelife and C.A.V.E.
Emily has appeared in a number of other plays at school and local
community theaters. She enjoys the company of the other cast
members.
Erich Lendermon
(Assistant Sound Tech.) Erich is a Junior at Rummel and this is his
3rd year and his 6th production with the Genesians. He loves to
play drums and plays them for Rummel’s Mass and Choir Band. He is
also a life scout working on his eagle. He is looking forward to a
new year and singing the theme song to “Pimp my Ride” with Jayme.
Jacob Miller
(Stage Manager) Before Rummel, Jacob attended St. Christopher’s
Middle School. He was in many shows at St. Christopher and greatly
enjoyed being in the plays there. Jake has been in two Genesian
shows: Brighton Beach Memoirs and The Last Night of
Ballyhoo. He has also appeared in various other plays and
loves being a Genesian. He’s found his place at Rummel and loves his
experiences of a Genesian.
Hans Neuenhaus
(Constable Bill Warren) is a junior at Rummel and is in his first
year as a Genesian.
Price Provenzano
(Simon Stimson) is currently a member of Archbishop Rummel High
School’s Junior class. You may have seen him in past Genesian
productions such as Grease, The 2005 Variety Show, and
The Song of Bernadette. He is glad to see Mr. Guajardo back
in action as the director of Our Town. Price is also excited
to be a part of the opening production of the Genesian Player’s
Forty-Fifth season.
Chris Rapp
(Professor Willard) - Chris Rapp is a senior at Archbishop Rummel
High School. He has no prior theatrical experience. Chris is
involved in Operation HeadStart, the tennis team, Campus Ministry
and is also a Eucharistic Minister. He entered the play as an extra
and it developed into a changing experience for him. He is very
excited about the opportunity to be a part of the play and is
thankful that Mr. G has encouraged him to participate in it.
Matthew Rigdon
(Mr. Webb) Matthew or “Big Rig” as his friends call him, is enjoying
his senior year at Rummel with the fact that he is now president of
Genesians. Besides being in Genesians, Matthew is also in Campus
Ministry, YRNO, a Big Brother, Operation HeadStart, and a
Eucharistic Minister. Matthew has also appeared in many other
Genesian plays. He has been in The Crucible, The
Desperate Hours, You Can’t Take It With You, Grease,
The Song of Bernadette, and The Last Night Of Ballyhoo.
Matthew also helped out behind the scenes for Tiger House.
Matthew has enjoyed doing Genesians for four years. Matthew would
like to take up the rest of the space in the booklet by thanking his
mom and dad (Shane and Darlene Rigdon). He thanks them for all the
work they have done for him, so that he can have a great and happy
life.
Ryck Soto
(Joe Stoddard) is a Rummel junior enjoying his 2nd year as a
Genesian. Ryck is a member of the marching band and is his home
room representative. Genesian audiences have seen Ryck in The
Song of Bernadette. He enjoys the Genesians and intends to live
out the rest of high school here.
Andrew Stiebing
(George Gibbs) Andrew is a junior at Archbishop Rummel High School.
This is Andrew’s second year with the Genesians. This is Andrew’s
third performance with Genesians. You may have seen Andrew last as
Eugene in Brighton Beach Memoirs. Andrew is also involved in
Student Council and attended St. Matthew the Apostle for grade
school.
Matthew Torres
(Wally Webb) Mathew is a freshman at Rummel enjoying his second year
as a Genesian. Matthew has also been in The Song of Bernadette.
Caleb Tourres
(Joe Crowell) Caleb is a senior at Rummel and on the power lifting
team. He is also a Big Brother and homeroom representative. He has
been acting since middle school and this is his second Genesian
performance. Has was in The Song of Bernadette. He hopes to
pursue a career in acting and writing.
