Who's Who In the Cast and Crew

 

 

Ryan Asprion (Narracott) A Senior, Ryan is Vice President of the Raider Band and active in the Jazz, Symphonic and Concert Bands. A writer for the Raider Digest, he played music for Fiddler on the Roof and Once Upon A Mattress and makes his first appearance on stage with this production. He plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi to study Communications and Marine Biology.

Joey Abramowicz (Lombard) A Senior, Joey is making his eighth appearance on the Genesian stage. He debuted as Peter in The Diary of Anne Frank and was recently seen as Johnny Pope, Jr. in A Hatful of Rain. The recipient of last year's Genesian Best Actor Award for Charley's Aunt, Joey will study theater at the University of Mississippi in the fall. He has performed with Tulane Summer Lyric Theater and Le Petit Theater and competed in gymnastics on the National and International level. Joey says "Love and thanks to Mr. G. and Mrs. Dufour for their support over four years" and dedi­cates his last show to his family, Joe, Terry, and Danielle. "Thanks you guys! I love you."

John Bel (Rogers) A Junior, who was named last year's Best Male Technician, John has appeared on stage in You Can't Take It With You and A Hatful of Rain. He is a member of Mu Alpha Theta, the National Honor Society and the Spanish Club. He recently performed in St. Rita's CYO one-act play and was named Best Actor in a city-wide competi­tion.

Dan Bono (Blore) A Junior with a unique sense of humor, Dan has performed in every Genesian production this season and is an active participant in Rummel's annual auction.. A Kehoe­France graduate, he enjoys opera and reading sixteenth century French poetry. Dan's two favorite classes include Speech and Mr. Musselwhite's English class. He would like to thank everyone who gave time to make this show possible.

Dana Callahan (Props Mistress) A four-year Genesian, Dana debuted as Hodel in Fiddler On The Roof and most recently served as Student Director for A Hatful of Rain. A Chapelle Senior, she is President of Chorale, President of Impressions, Co­editor of the newspaper, and member of the Retreat Team, Heart, Student Council and Matthew 25. Dana will attend Northeast Louisiana University as a Communications major. She says, "Genesians is a club that I have grown with not only physically, but emotionally, psychologically, and in talent. I have gained many skills and memories that I will take with me for the rest of my life. I want to thank my mom, 'Momma V', you've been the best! I love you all!"

Kenny Carrigee (Blore) A five-year Genesian and Rummel Senior, Kenny has appeared in seven previous productions including Lost In Yonkers, Desperate Hours, Fiddler On The Roof, Once Upon A Mattress, The Nerd, Little Shop of Horrors, and You Can't Take It With You. A member of Student Council, Kenny is involved in Campus Ministry, Christian Leadership and is Senior Class Representative of Lifeguards. He will attend Louisiana State University in the fall and plans a career as a psychologist because "behind all the joking, I'm a really good person to talk to."

Chuck Credo (Narracott) A musician who performs in a rock band with other Genesians, Chuck also plays guitar with his grandfather's jazz band and plans to make a recording with the group this summer. A Rummel Junior from St. Benilde, he was a member of the band for Once Upon A Mattress and an usher for other productions. He is a member of the Key Club, National Honor Society and is Mock Trial Captain.

Betsy Danflous (Emily) A Junior and Basket­ball Team Captain at Newman School, Betsy is a member of the Yearbook staff, ACTIONS, Track Team, and the National Arts Honor Society. Named Best Genesian Female Technician last year, she was most recently seen as Essie in You Can't Take It With You. This summer she will teach mountain climbing skills in North Carolina.

Robin Deck (Props) An Archbishop Chapelle Senior, Robin has performed with the Genesians in Little Shop of Horrors and A Hatful of Rain. She is a member of the Chapelle Student Council, Campus Ministry, Eucharistic Ministers, Matthew 25 and is Photography Editor of the yearbook. She will attend Louisiana State University in the fall.

Rebecca Harris (Emily) An Ursuline Senior, making her ninth appearance on. the Genesian stage, Rebecca wishes for another four years as a Genesian Player. Named Best Female Technician in '95 and Best Supporting Actress in '96, she plans to study architecture in college. At Ursuline, she is Student Council President, a Student Ambassador and a Campus Minister.


Tim Hedrick (Head Usher) A Rummel Freshman and two-year member of the Genesians, Tim has been involved behind-the-scenes for the last five Genesian productions. A Cheerleader, he is a member of Campus Ministry and the National Junior Honor Society. Tim previously attended Christian Brothers School.

Elizabeth Hollinger (Props) An eighth grade student at St. Martin's Episcopal, Elizabeth joins the Genesians with this production.

Gina Long (Mrs. Rogers) A Dominican Senior, Gina is making her first appearance with the Genesians but she is no stranger to the stage. She has performed in productions at Dominican and St. Catherine of Siena. An Inter-club Representative for Drama, she is Tri-M Historian and member of the Varsity Basketball Team, Choir, National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. In college, Gina plans to major in Biology and find time to perform in plays.

Steve Maloney (Student Director/Rogers) Debuting in You Can't Take It With You, Steve was recently seen as Apples in A Hatful of Rain. A Junior, Steve is a member of Student Council and the Swim Team.

Darren Marshall (Props) A Rummel Sophomore, who previously attended Haynes Middle School, Darren has appeared on stage in Little Shop of Horrors, You Can't Take It With You, and A Hatful of Rain.

Colleen McKay (Vera) Making her first appearance with the Genesians, Colleen has pe­formed with Tulane Junior Lyric Theater, NORD, and for Dominican High School. A Junior, she is Copy Editor of the yearbook, Student Council Representative and member of the Cross Country and Speech and Debate Teams.

Barry Mendelson (Sound) A Junior and member of the Raider Band, Barry joins the Genesians with this production. His future plans include a career as a professional musician.

Todd Mondello (Marston) A Junior, Todd performed as the Nurse in a class production of The Stolen Prince and debuts with the Genesians in Ten Little Indians. Active in sports outside of school, he previously attended St. Christopher.

Stephanie Reynolds (Vera) A Chapelle Junior, Stephanie has appeared in Once Upon A Mattress, Little Shop of Horrors and You Can't Take It With You. A recently elected officer of the Chapellettes, she is also a member of the Raider Band, Chorale, Impressions, Student Council and National Honor Society.

Kate Rohm (Mrs. Rogers) A Chapelle Junior from St. Francis Xavier, Kate enjoys the opportunity to be in the Genesian spotlight. She made her debut in Little Shop of Horrors and was seen this year in You Can't Take It With You and A Hatful of Rain. Kate is looking forward to performing with the Chapellettes next year.

Mike Tregle (Gaffer) A five-year Genesian, Mike recently performed the role of Johnny Pope, Jr. in A Hatful of Rain. A Senior, he has participated in numerous productions on-stage and backstage. A Cheerleader and member of the Raider Star Ensemble, Mike will attend Loyola University next year.

Matthew Treuting (Armstrong) President-elect of the Rummel Student Body, Matthew is Sophomore Class President and member of the Football Team, HeadStart, National Honor Society, Campus Ministry. He has appeared in Little Shop of Horrors and You Can't Take It With You and worked with props for A Hatful of Rain. Co-president of the St. Ann CYO, he is looking forward to a long nap at the close of this show.

Paul Treuting (Wargrave) Whether it's Rummel Football or a Genesian production, Paul enjoys the team aspects of accomplishing a task. A Senior, who appeared in You Can't Take It With You and A Hatful of Rain, he is Class Vice President, and member of the HeadStart Executive Board, Track Team and Football Team. In the fall, he will attend Mississippi College, play football, and pursue a career as a Pharmacist.

Keith Vega (MacKenzie) A four-year Genesian Player, Keith is a Rummel Senior who first appeared on stage as Anthony Kirby in You Can't Take It With You and contributed technical assistance to numer­ous productions. A member of the Choir, Campus Ministry, Mock Trial, Library Club and Operation HeadStart, he plans to pursue a legal career.

Billy Wiss (Marston) Making his stage debut in this performance, Billy is a Rummel Senior. A member of Big Brothers, the Swim Team and a Student Council Representative, he plans on attend­ing the John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University.
