Joshua Bernard (Ernie Cusack)
This is Josh’s second Genesian
production at Rummel, and he cannot wait to play Ernie! Josh is
excited to be in another play with some of his “Godspell” cast,
and some new Genesians as well. In addition to Genesians, Josh is
currently in Student Council, National Honor Society, Rader
Ambassadors, and Latin Club. He has loved being a part of this
amazing cast, and cannot wait for opening night! Break a leg or
two everyone!
Ryan
Bonfanti (Ken
Gorman)
Ryan is here for
your entertainment as he gives his compelling performance of Ken
for you (the audience) to behold.
This is his fourth brilliant performance as a Genesian and
Ryan is hoping that you will be overcome with a sense of
brilliance after you witness the artistry that is his acting
ability. He has been compared to the great presences on stage and
in film of the past century, such as Sir Laurence Olivier, Keanu
Reeves, and Keith Claverie (though they do him little justice).
Ryan is in his Senior year at Rummel and wants to make you laugh
for just one night. Hopefully he remembers his lines. Enjoy the
show!
Emily Borne
(Cassie Cooper)
Emily is a junior
at Chapelle and is finding it hard to believe that this is her
fourth year and sixth production as a Genesian. She is giddy to be
playing the same role her mom did in the 2004 alumni production of
Rumors. She was last seen on the Genesian stage as a
tambourine-playing hippy in the spring musical Godspell.
Emily would like to thank her castmates for all the laughs, her
parents, and Mr. Claverie for giving her a more interesting way to
pronounce "banal" and for the opportunity to play a pyscho.
Yvette
Bourgeois (Claire
Ganz)
Yvette can’t
think of a better way to start off her senior year than with the
Genesians! You may recognize her as the cashew-loving Cecily
Pigeon in last fall’s The Odd Couple. She would like to
thank God, her family, and Mr. Claverie for this wonderful
opportunity. Yvette also enjoys coffee and sitting in the time-out
chair.
Samantha Eshleman
(Chris Gorman)
This is
Samantha’s first play as a Genesian and is excited to be a part of
the show. She is a
freshman at Cabrini High and has performed in Bedtime as
Kitty and A Servant of Two Master as Florindo for the
Cabrini Drama Club.
Recently she performed in Thoroughly Modern Millie at St.
Francis Xavier. Samantha is very excited to be working with the
entire cast and crew and would like to thank Mr. Claverie for this
opportunity. She would also like to thank God, her family, and
friends for supporting her love for theatre.
Will
Hoffpauir (Glenn
Cooper)
Will is a senior
at Archbishop Rummel and is very excited to be back on the
Genesian stage yet again after most recently playing Jesus in the
Genesians’ Spring 2010 production of Godspell. This is
Will’s third, and sadly, his final year of Genesians. Will would
like to thank everyone involved in this show, especially the
lovely Trey Green, and would also like to thank his Uncle Stephan,
his father, and all his amazing friends for their constant support
in all his endeavors, Genesian-related or otherwise. Will knows
this show is going to be pretty epic, so fracture a limb everyone!
Heh. Heh. Heh.
Jacob
LeBlanc (Stage
Manager)
Jacob is a senior at Rummel and
is excited to be managing the stage. He has been playing lacrosse
for Rummel for four years, and he also has a talent for car
noises. Jacob would like to thank Mr. Claverie for the opportunity
to be part of this show, and thanks to the Genesians for accepting
him and for all the fun.
Ashley
Monaghan (Cookie
Cusack)
Ashley is a
sophomore at Chapelle and is uberexcited to be in Rumors
with this amazing group that is the Genesians. You might have
previously seen her in Godspell playing herself (and zee
guitar) and dancing with Jesus. Ashley is looking forward to all
the fun times and inside jokes such as, “Is that…..PASTA!?!” and
“Boo Radley.” She wants to thank God, Mr. Claverie, and her family
for supporting her.
She wants to remind all of her Genesians to “Keep it Classy ;)”.
Tis all, hope you enjoy the show!
Alys Murray
(Chris Gorman)
Alys is so
blessed to be working with her Genesian family again. After being
apart of last year's Godspell, Alys could not wait to
audition for this season's production of Rumors. She wants
to thank her mother and stepdad, who drove her to and from Baton
Rouge every afternoon.
Alys also wants to thank Mr. Claverie for his amazing
director-ness, as well as her Genesian family, who always make
rehearsal exciting ("Is that.... PASTA??").
Enjoy the show! Oh, and keep it classy, Genesians.
Joshua
Rodriquez (Lenny
Ganz)
Josh is a senior
at Rummel and unfortunately this is his last year with Genesians.
Josh has been in other Genesian shows such as The Odd Couple
in which Josh played Speed. Josh was also in Godspell in
which he played Josh (Herb).
Josh looks forward to enjoying this final year with the
Genesians and would like to thank the cast and "crew", the
director and stage manager whom this show would not be possible
without, you the viewers. And finally Josh would like to
personally thank his family, friends and his lovely soul mate
Dominique, who encouraged him and kept him going. He wouldn't be
here doing what he loved without the one he loves! And that's the
whole dang story as sure as his name is Josh Rodriguez! Thank you,
enjoy the show!
Ray Shall
(Officer Welch)
Ray is a senior
at Rummel, and Rumors is his second Genesian performance.
Ray was in the Genesian Players’ previous production Godspell
and had a blast. He is excited to be performing with his friend,
and hopes you enjoy the show.
Lilly
Villere (Cookie
Cusack)
Lilly is a senior
at Chapelle and is very excited to be part of Rumors, her
first Genesian production. She is no stranger to the stage, having
performed in numerous Chapelle productions. She is in Chapelle’s
Chorale and Showstoppers. “Break a leg, everybody!”
Emily
Vosbein (Officer
Pudney)
Emily is a junior
at Archbishop Chapelle High School. She enjoys acting, singing and
playing guitar. She has participated in many productions with St
Rita School, Jefferson Performing Arts Society Summer Theatre and
Chapelle’s Thalian’s. She enjoys volunteering her time in the
summer to intern at the youth productions of JPAS Summer Theatre.
She is currently a member of Chapelle’s Chorale, and
Showstoppers. She earned the honor of being chosen as a member of
the LMEA Senior Honor Choir and placed top 5 in her vocal range in
her sophomore year.
