Joshua
Bernard (Ali Hakim) Josh’s third performance on the
Genesian stage in OKLAHOMA! will be as Ali Hakim, the
comical and sometimes creepy Persian peddler. Josh has also
recently been in the Genesian productions of Rumors
(Ernie Cusack) and Godspell (Josh). Josh is very excited
to once again stand by many of his old cast-mates, along with many
new additions to the Genesians. Josh and the whole cast have had
many great times helping to make this classic show a reality, and
they hope that you enjoy it!
Ryan Bonfanti
(Andrew Carnes) is a senior at Rummel in his fifth performance as
a Genesian. Imagine a typical old Midwest farmer and that’s what
the role is pretty much summed up as. Carnes is also the Judge of
a small country town where the townsfolk sing and dance all day,
and the most exciting tale of the year is about a trip to Kansas
City. Yey!
Emily Borne
(Laurey Williams) is a junior at Chapelle and is proud to say that
this is her seventh Genesian production! She is beyond thrilled to
be a part of OKLAHOMA! You may remember her from the fall
production as Cassie in Rumors, in which she obsessively
rubbed crystals and yelled at that Hoffpauir guy. At Chapelle,
Emily is involved in Chorale, NHS, Spanish club, Impressions, and
is the president of Showstoppers. She would like to thank the cast
for all of the good times (and for emptying her wallet), the
fabulous Claverie Clan, Ms. Leslie Limberg, and her family. Emily
dedicates this performance to her Nana and Paw Paw.
Yvette
Bourgeois (Gertie Cummings) is a senior at Chapelle
and is delighted that OKLAHOMA! is her third Genesian
production. She was last seen on the Genesian stage as the
clueless, but lovable, Claire in Rumors. Yvette is very
involved at Chapelle – she is an Ambassador officer, a member of
the Spanish Club, NHS officer, True Life Club, Mu Alpha Theta,
Campus Ministry and Chorale. She wants to thank God for so many
great opportunities, the Claverie’s and her family and friends for
always being there for her. Yvette couldn’t live without
Applebee’s, a cup of coffee, and abusing Emily.
Amy Cassiere
(Ensemble) is a freshman at Archbishop Chapelle and this is her
first play with Genesians. She’s enjoyed becoming part of the
Genesian family for the past few months and can’t wait until the
next play comes around. Amy is also a part of the Rummel Band
program and choir at Chapelle. She is hopeful to stay with
Genesians, if time will allow her, for everyone here is like a
family to her.
Colette
“Shnicklefritz” Childress (Ensemble) is a senior at
Archbishop Chapelle High School. She is involved in Student
Council, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and is also the
Archbishop Chapelle Mascot, the Chipmunk! Colette intends on going
to medical school after college and becoming a forensic
pathologist. This is Colette’s third appearance in a Genesian
production having previously been the Lady in Box in Our Town
and Amy Spettigue in Charley’s Aunt. She is also involved
in the Thalians Drama Club at Chapelle, where she performed as
Carnelle Scott in The Miss Firecracker Contest.
Samantha
Eshleman (Ensemble) This is Samantha’s second play as
a Genesian and is excited to be a part of the cast again. She is a
freshman at Cabrini High and has performed in Rumors at
Rummel as Chris Gorman and Thoroughly Modern Millie at
St. Francis Xavier. Samantha is very excited to be working with
the entire cast and crew and would like to thank Mr. Claverie,
Mrs. Judy, Ms. Claverie, and Leslie for this opportunity. She
would also like to thank God, her family and friends for
supporting her love for theatre.
Will
Hoffpauir (Curly McLain) is a senior at Archbishop
Rummel High School. You may recognize him as Glenn Cooper from the
Fall production, Rumors, or as Jesus Christ from the
previous years’ Spring musical, Godspell. When he is not
acting, Will can usually be found engaging in random shenanigans
with Yvette Bourgeois along with other cast members. Will would
like to thank Mr. Claverie, this amazing cast, everyone’s favorite
dwarf, Chris Morgan, and everyone else who made this fantastic
production possible. He would also like to thank his parents and
his incredible uncle, the famous Stephan Hoffpauir, for their
constant and undying support.
Devyn Lambert
(Ensemble) is a sophomore at Chapelle and this is her first time
in a Genesian production. She is a member of Chorale and
Showstoppers at Chapelle, she is also a Chapelle Ambassador and
part of many clubs such as Matthew 25 Service Program and True
Life Club. When she is not doing stuff for school she loves to
spend time with her amazing friends and wonderful family. She has
enjoyed all the time she has spent with the cast and crew of
OKLAHOMA! and hopes there are many more great times to come.
Jacob LeBlanc
(Will Parker) is a senior at Rummel and this is the second
Genesian show he is a part of. This time, however, he is actually
in the show as yours truly Will Parker. In Jacob’s first
production, Rumors, he served as the stage manager. Also
Jacob is a four-year starter on the Rummel lacrosse team. He wants
to thank everyone in the show, especially Mr. Claverie and Ms.
Claverie and Ms. Leslie and Mrs. Judy, for all the work they put
in with us. He thanks God, and his family for supporting him.
Jessica
Messina (Aunt Eller) is a freshman at Archbishop
Chapelle High School, and this is her Genesian debut. She has done
two Spring plays at St. Christopher School. Jessica has been a
District Honor Choir participant in 2007, 2008 and 2009. She has
been practicing violin for eight years, and enjoys involving music
and theater.
Ashley
Monaghan (Ado Annie Carnes) is a sophomore at
Chapelle High School, and this is her third show with Genesians.
She’d like to start off this bio with some ‘thank you’s: *clears
throat* to Mr. Clav for being an awesome director and putting up
with her shenanigans, to Mom & Dad & Kel for being oh, so
supportive, to her Genesian family for always being there and
being the best people ever, to her friends and to strangers for
smiling and doing wonderful things, etc etc. Now, to the fun part:
Ashley loved sharing the part of “the floozy” with her friend,
Rebecca. She also loves playing guitar and deep conversations over
coffee. Ashley hopes you all enjoy the show and have a blessed
evening. P.S – she also invites you to go and hug her after the
show.
Karl Schulze
(Ike Skidmore) This is Karl’s first play at Rummel, but he has
done many more in Elementary school. His first play was the St.
Benilde production of Snow White when he was in third
grade as a “forest critter.” Karl is a sophomore and is currently
active in Track and Field, Tennis, Paintball Club, and
Ambassadors. He is excited about working with Mr. Claverie and
anticipating working on more productions with him.
Ray Shall
(Jud Fry) Ray is a senior at Rummel in his third Genesian
production. He previously performed in Godspell and as
the wife-loving Detective Welch in Rumors. Ray thanks Mr.
Claverie for inspiring him to join Genesians a year ago while
taking attendance every morning in homeroom.
Matthew Stout
(Ensemble) In his first play in high school, Matthew is glad to be
part of such a fun musical with friends, old and new. Though
skeptical at first to join a play so late in his high school
career, Matt has come to find a positive atmosphere and global
acceptance. Excited to have found a new aspect of the arts,
Matthew plans to involve himself with the Genesians long after his
debut in OKLAHOMA!
Nicole
Trosclair (Ensemble) This is Nicole Trosclair’s first
Genesian play and she is very excited that she is now part of the
Genesian family. Nicole, a senior at Archbishop Chapelle, is in
Chapelle’s Chorale, Showstoppers and various drama productions.
She really enjoys the choreography in this production of
OKLAHOMA! Nicole has been dancing for ten years and also
enjoys singing and playing her guitar.
Lilly Villere
(Ensemble) is a senior at Archbishop Chapelle making her second
appearance on the Genesin stage. You may remember Lilly, and her
screams, as the kooky Cookie in the Fall production of Rumors.
At Chapelle, Lilly is a member of the Chapelle Chorale and
Showstoppers and has been a part of numerous Chapelle drama
productions.
Rebecca
Lynne White (Ado Annie Carnes) is a junior at
Archbishop Chapelle High School. This is Rebecca’s first
production as a Genesian, and she is very excited about this
opportunity. Rebecca has been involved in musical theater since
the age of eight with the Jefferson Performing Arts Society and
Kenner’s Rivertown Repertory Theatre. She was a student in NOCCA’s
Summer Conservatory for musical theater in 2010. Rebecca would
like to thank her family, cast-mates, her voice coach Megan Dearie
and Mr. Claverie for all the support.
