Ryan Bonfanti (The Snake -
The Diaries of Adam
& Eve) is a
sophomore at Archbishop Rummel. He is a writer for the Raiders’
Digest, a member of the Video Game Club, and a Raider Ambassador.
This is Ryan’s first time in a Genesian production.
Emily Borne
(Willie -
This Property is Condemned)
is a freshman at Archbishop Chapelle High School and is ecstatic to
be on the Genesian stage once again! Last fall, Emily played
numerous background characters in the production
Our Town.
She is involved in student council, choir, Jr. Beta club, and
showstoppers at Chapelle. She’d like to thank her family, friends,
and everyone who helped make this production possible!
Emily Brauninger

Marriage Proposal)
Emily has been involved in 13 Genesian productions. She is a five
year Genesian and wishes she had many more. Theatre has always been
a huge part of her life. She thanks Keith Claverie for doing a
wonderful job directing and keeping the Genesians together. RAA

Jessie Dupuy
(Eve - The
Diaries of Adam & Eve)
Jessie is a senior at Archbishop Chapelle and is enjoying her 3rd
year as a Genesian. You might recognize her as LaLa in
The Last Night of
Ballyhoo,
Emily in Our
Town or as
Kitty in
Charley’s Aunt.
Jessie has been a Rummel cheerleader for 4 years and is currently
captain. She can also be found singing at Rummel’s school masses or
working the many club activities she enjoys such as student council,
the pro life club, psychology club and many others. Jessie would
like to dedicate this performance to Mr. Chuck Guajardo. “I love you
Mr. G!”
Lauryn Gilardi
(Willie -
This Property is Condemned)
Aside from her schooling and showstoppering as a junior at
Archbishop Chapelle, and working at work, Lauryn is secretly
undercover on an important mission for the FBI. Just don’t let her
parents know because she hasn’t told them yet. She would like to
let them know how thankful she is to them for supporting her in
pursuing her theatrical dreams. She also wants to give a shout out
to Mr. G. He was her greatest inspiration and she misses him
dearly. If you look closely you may remember her from previous
Genesian performances and is more than delighted to be back onstage
and in the classrooms with her Genesian family.
Jesse Karmazin
(The Snake -
The Diaries of Adam &
Eve) is a
sophomore at Rummel and in his first Geneisian production. Before
arriving at Rummel, he played Stromboli in Pinocchio in the seventh
grade at St. Josephs School in Shreveport. He has always found an
interest in acting ,and looks forward to being The Snake in
The Diary of Adam
and Eve.
Claire Laurent
(Natalia - A
Marriage Proposal)
a junior at Archbishop Chapelle High School, is in her fourth year
as a Genesian Player. She is very excited to be cast in her fifth
Genesian show, previously appearing in
Grease,
The Song of
Bernadette,
Our Town,
and most recently as Donna Lucia D’Alvadorez in
Charley’s Aunt.
At Chapelle, Claire is involved in Student Council, True Life, and
Campus Ministry, as well as being an Ambassador Officer and the
President of Showstoppers. Claire would just like to add , “This
show’s for you, Mr. G.”
Price Provenzano
(Adam - The
Diaries of Adam & Eve)
is currently a senior at Archbishop Rummel High School. You may have
seen him in past Genesian productions such as Jack Chesney in
Charley’s Aunt,
Simon Stimson in
Our Town,
The Song of
Bernadette,
and Grease.
Price believes he has come a long way from his very first
performance on the Genesian stage as a greaser; and he hopes to
astonish and keep you in hysterics as he portrays “The Father of
Humankind” in an interpretation of Mark Twain’s
The Diaries of Adam
and Eve.
Price is excited to kick off The Genesian Players’ 46th Season with
a night of one act plays. He would like to dedicate his performance
tonight to Mr. Guajardo who taught him everything he would ever need
to know about acting (or in the eyes of Mr. G.... Reacting!). Price
is very thankful for the three and a half years he was able to spend
under the direction of Mr. G. and would also like to thank Mr.
Keith Claverie, Chris Morgan, Trey Green, Mrs. Maureen Verderame,
and Mr. Michael Begg for keeping this amazing group, The Genesian
Family, together. Price commented, “I wouldn’t change my high school
career for anything in the world. I have learned so much in my short
period of time as a Genesian Player and can not express in words how
much of an inspiration Mr. G was to me. This one’s for you!”
Donovan Retreage
(Student Director) Donovan is a senior in his third and final year
as a Genesian. Besides Genesians, Donovan is also a member of the
track and field team; “I do the javelin throw event.” Donovan enjoys
practicing boxing, jujitsu, and drawing. Donovan considers himself
an above average student in school, getting on the beta honor roll
every year.
Alex Schaefer
(Tom - This
Property is Condemned)
is an eighth grader at Archbishop Rummel. Before attending Rummel,
Alex attended Lakewood Elementary in Luling, and Sacred Heart of
Jesus in Norco. Alex is a member of the Archbishop Rummel Marching
Band and the St. Charles Diablo’s soccer team.
Ryck Soto
(Tschub - A
Marriage Proposal)
Ryck has been doing Genesians since he first arrived at Rummel two
years ago. Now a senior, Ryck has been in many productions including
Our Town
and
Charlie’s Aunt.
Ryck is also in Rummel’s honor band and was king of the Krewe of
Rhea’s Mardi Gras parade. Ryck is also noted for being the tight
rope walker for he circus, maybe you recognize him as the Flying
Ryckizmo. Ryck is also a local director and care taker of many zoo
animals. He claims to have nothing to do with the lion fiasco of
‘97, but we can never be too sure. Ryck is also notable for being a
professional Street Fighter 4 player. When not making movies and
tight rope walking, Ryck is also a life guard at your local public
pool. Even with his hectic and chaotic schedule, Ryck is honored to
have returned to the stage under the new guidance of Mr. Claverie.
Ryck is positive that this will be the best show yet. Well not a
hundred percent sure.
Andrew Stiebing
(Lomov - A
Marriage Proposal)
Andrew is a senior at Archbishop Rummel High School and this is his
third year as a Genesian.
A Marriage Proposal
will be Andrew’s Fifth and final production with the Genesians. He
has been in
The Song of Bernadette,
Brighton
Beach Memoirs,
Our Town,
and
Charley’s Aunt.
Along with acting Andrew enjoys watching the sunset on his
neighbor’s roof with his best bud Brian. “I want to dedicate this
play to Mr. G for teaching me everything he has taught me these past
three years.”
