Quinn
Asaro
(Mayor of Munchkin Land) Quinn
made his debut on the Genesian Players' stage as Rufus in the production, All
the Way Home. A junior who previously attended St. Philip Neri, he
is a member of the National Honor Society, Science Olympiad Team, Key
Club, and president of the Spanish club. This is Quinn's sixth Genesian
production, his first musical, and his third time appearing in knickers.
He's looking forward to a great junior year.
Randy
Boudreaux (Tinman)
A
graduate of St. Benilde, this senior is appearing in his sixth Genesian
play. Some of his previous roles include Louie in Lost
in Yonkers and Col. Purdy in Teahouse
of the August Moon. Randy's other school activities include Big
Brothers, Project Raider Hope, Key Club, Student Council, and writing for
the Raider's Digest newspaper. He plans to major in Communications in
college, with a minor in Journalism, and looks toward a career as a sports
broadcast journalist.
Natalie
Boyd (The
Wicked Witch) In her third Genesian show, Natalie is very happy to be
back and playing such a fabulous part. She was last seen in Teahouse
of the August Moon and 4in1.
A senior at Dominican High School, she is a member of the Choir and
Drama Club. She also has been a part of many productions at local theatre
companies. She is a graduate of St. Rita Elementary. "Thanks to my
fellow witches for making this trip to Oz wonderful, my dears."
Ross
Britz (Farmhand,
Soldier, Jitterbug) A
three-year Genesian, Ross is a member of the Soccer team, Operation
HeadStart, the Track team, and Student Council.
Michelle
Cenac (Witch
Mombi/ Farmhand/
Oz Maiden) A junior at
Chapelle, Michelle is in her third year with the Genesians. She previously
appeared in Circle, Broadway
Bound, 4in1
and Teahouse of the
August Moon, and
was student director and worked lights for Lost
in Yonkers. Michelle loves being a Genesian and is hoping to go to
New York with the club this year. She also wants to thank her family and
friends for their support.
Keith
Claverie (Lion)
Keith is a senior in
his fifth year and tenth production with the Genesians. He has appeared in
You're A Good Man Charlie Brown,
Circle, All The Way Home, and
4in1
to name a few. Last year, Keith received the Best Actor Geni Award for
his role as Captain Fisby in Teahouse
of the
August
Moon. In addition
to Genesians, Keith is involved in Christian Leadership, Raiders' Digest,
Big Brothers, and serves as Senior Class President. Keith thanks Amanda
Boever for helping him find his inner lion.
Brian
Collins (Scarecrow)
This is Brian's fourth performance with the Genesian players. He has also
appeared in 4inI, Teahouse of
the
August
Moon,
and
Lost In Yonkers. He
has prayed that he makes every play and so far, so good. A dedicated
worker who thinks of himself as a wonderful actor. Brian would like to
thank his fans and everyone who thinks highly of him. "Thanks
Quinn!" He previously attended St. Philip Neri.
Elizabeth
Darré
(Munchkin,
Oz Maiden, Jitterbug) Elizabeth
is a senior at Chapelle who is involved in Ambassadors, National Honor
Society, and Mu. Alpha Theta. She previously was seen in 4inI
and
Teahouse of
the
August Moon. She
attended St. Ann Grammar School.
Christopher
DeHarde (Munchkin)
An eighth grader,
Christopher is thrilled to be in his first Genesian production. His
previous drama experience includes the St. Charles Parish School System
drama program. An auto racing and video game enthusiast, he hopes to be in
many more productions during his years at Rummel.
Bradley
DiCarlo (Soldier,
Jitterbug) A freshman, making his debut as a Genesian Player, Bradley
enjoys video games and computers. A St. Philip Neri graduate, he is a
member of the Latin Cub.
Sidney DiVincent
(Munchkin) A freshman, who
is making his debut performance with the Genesian Players, Sidney
previously attended Meisler Middle School.
Amanda
Ducorbier (Dorothy)
A Junior at Archbishop
Chapelle, Amanda is a Rummel cheerleader and also sings in the NOCC Youth
Choral. The Wizard of
Oz is her Genesian
debut. Amanda is a graduate of St. Ann School and dedicates this
performance to her parents. "I Love you, Mom and Dad!"
Drew
Etheridge (Farmhand)
In his first year as a Genesian, Drew is a junior in his debut
performance as a Genesian. He is an active member of the Key Club and the
Spanish Club. Drew is excited about his recent Genesian affiliation and
dedicates all his work and effort in the play to his family and friends,
especially his mother who is the biggest influence in his life.
Kirk Evans (The
Wizard of Oz, Uncle Henry) This is Kirk's third Genesian performance.
He has also appeared in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown as Schroeder, and Lost
In Yonkers as Uncle Louie. Kirk is also involved in Operation HeadStart
and is on the Swim team.
Paul Fleming (Farmhand,
Soldier) A freshman, Paul made his debut last year as Tom in This
Property Is Condemned and also appeared as a villager in Teahouse of the August Moon. He is involved in Track,
Bowling, and Rummel Auction. Paul previously attended St. Benilde.
Ross Gernon (Growlie,
Soldier, Farmhand, Jitterbug)
A second-year Genesian, Ross has worked in many shows as an usher and
helping out in work crews. He hopes to share his talent with others and
inspire people who want to act. He previously attended St. Philip Neri.
Louis Haar (Sound
Man) Louis is a sophomore in his second year working sound for the
Genesians. He made his debut as sound man in 4inI
and has since worked on Teahouse
of the August Moon and Lost
in Yonkers. He is involved in National junior Honor Society and
attended St. Christopher for grammar school.
Matthew
Haar (Props)
A
senior and four-year Genesian, Matthew made his debut in Our
Town. His other appearances include Circle & 4in1,
Teahouse of the
August Moon and
Lost In Yonkers.
Matthew is interested in film and hopes to one day have a career in
that industry.
Mary
Lee Harris (Dorothy)
Mary Lee is in her fifth season as a Genesian. As an eighth grader,
Mary Lee won the Best Supporting Actress Geni for her debut role as Tootie
in Meet Me In St. Louis. She has participated in other Genesian
productions such as You're a Good
Man Charlie Brown, Circle, All the Way Home, The Sandbox, Teahouse of the
August
Moon, and Lost in Yonkers,
for which she won the Best Actress Geni for her role as Bella. At the
2001-2002 Geni Night Ceremony, she was awarded Best All-round Female
Genesian. A senior at Ursuline Academy, Mary Lee is active in Campus
Ministry, retreat team, the choir, the Queen's Players, S.F.A.B.U., and
Ambassadors.
George
Hoffmann (Student
Tech Director/
House Manager) A
senior, who
is in his fourth year working backstage for the Genesians, George is on
the Genesian student board. As house manager, he is in charge of all the
other ushers and their duties. George won the 2001-2002 Geni Awards for
Best Technical Male, and All Around
Genesian Male. He is involved in Big Brothers and he participates in St.
Edward's CYO, his grammar school.
Kirsten
Hoffmann (Munchkin)
Kirsten is a senior at
Archbishop Chapelle High School. She is involved in Thalians, Student
Council and is on the Yearbook Staff. She is a graduate of St. Rita School
in Harahan. This is her debut performance on the Genesian stage. She would
like to dedicate her first performance to her family and friends.
Richard
Houidobre (Props)
A senior and a four
year Genesian, Richard started with crew work on The
Last Night
of Ballyhoo and has been involved ever since. This year he is
taking a small break from the stage to help out backstage. Richard is a
graduate of St. Angela Merici, and is involved in Campus Ministry,
Eucharistic Ministers. He is also the Vice President of S.T.U.D.S. at
Rummel.
Katherine
Houin (Witch
Sarah/
Farmhand/
Jitterbug/ Oz Maiden) A
junior at Dominican, Katherine is involved in DHS chorus, Christian
Leadership Council, and the Drama club. This is Katherine's Genesian
debut. She has also performed in many other musicals in local theatres. A
graduate of St. Andrew the Apostle, she would like to dedicate this
performance to her parents who have been supportive throughout the show.
Ben
Hughes (Tinman)
A senior in his second performance as a Genesian, Ben debuted as
Captain McLean in Teahouse of the
August Moon. Ben went to Harold Keller Elementary School and John
Quincy Adams Middle School. He is involved in Big Brothers, Campus
Ministry, and the National Honor Society.
Kristin
Hunt (Munchkin,
Oz Maiden) Kristin, a
freshman at Chapelle, is making her debut with the Genesians, and her very
first experience on stage. She previously attended St. Edward the
Confessor.
Dayna
Johnson (Aunt
Em/
Glinda, the Good Witch) A
senior at Chapelle and a third year Genesian, Dayna. first appeared in All
The Way Home.
Her other performances include Broadway
Bound, 4in1, Teahouse of the August Moon and Lost In Yonkers for which she won the Best Supporting Actress
Geni. At Chapelle, she is actively involved in Retreat Team, Thalians,
Campus Ministry, National Art Honor Society, and Mission Club. She
previously attended St. Ann Grammar School. Dayna dedicates this
performance to her grandma, for bringing musicals into her life.
Jarred
Kelley (Coroner)
An eighth grader making his Genesian debut, Jarred is involved in no
other clubs or groups at Rummel but is active in many sports outside of.
school. He previously attended St. Mary Magdalen.
Loren
Kerr (Tech
Crew) Loren comes to
Rummel from St. Mary Magdalen and is in his fourth year as a Genesian.. He
plans to attend UNO next year and pursue a Ph.D. in psychiatry with a minor
in Computer Science. He dedicates his light display to his Grandpa who
passed away last April.
Tess
Kopeki
(Farm
Hand, Oz Maid, & Jitter Bug) is in
the eighth grade at Archbishop Chapelle High School and attended St.
Benilde through the seventh grade. She is a member of Thalians, Matthew 25
Service Program, Junior Beta Club, Quiz Bowl, and Key Club. Tess is
involved in CYO, twirling, and sports. Currently, she is Miss Metairie
Teen America 2003 and has won a partial college scholarship and numerous
awards through the pageant system. She plans to seek a degree in Education
with a secondary career in acting and modeling.
Wesley
Laurendine (Uncle
Henry, Soldier) Wesley
is a sophomore making his debut on the Genesian stage. He is involved mi
Basketball, Student Council, and Baseball. The vocalist for the up and
coming band The Punes, he attended St. Christopher Elementary School. His
hobbies are writing poems and skipping on the sidewalk.
Danny
Lester (Farmhand/
Oz Soldier) Danny writes in
his profile, I go to Rummel High School, and I have wanted to go there for
a long time. Before, I went to Kehoe-France School, where I participated
in the school plays since fifth grade. I have never had a lead role, but I
have had many extras' and supporting actors' parts. I heard all about
Genesians and I am happy to be a part of it now."
Paul
Loisel (Growlie,
Soldier, Farmhand, Jitterbug) Paul is a senior and a second year
Genesian. He has previously appeared onstage as Sgt. Gregorvich in Teahouse
of
the August
Moon, and as Eddie in Lost
In Yonkers. Paul is also involved in Student Council, S.T.U.D.S.,
the Inline Hockey Team, the Raiders' Digest, and Christian Leadership.
Brooks
Lugo (Oz
Soldier) A
freshman, Brooks was home schooled until the 6 grade. He recently moved to
Louisiana from Alabama. His father is a Rummel alum. This is Brooks'
Genesian debut.
Billy
Majoue (Farmhand/
Jitterbug)
Billy is a senior at
Rummel High School and is a three-year Genesian. He has performed in Teahouse
of
the August
Moon as Sakini and
also in 4inl as Daddy. Billy enjoys Genesians because it gives him a
chance to make many new friends and to learn many things about theater.
Perry
William Manning, Jr., (Oz
Soldier/
Farmhand) A sophomore, Perry is a first year Genesian. Perry is not in
any other activity, so he plans to stay with the Genesians until he
graduates, auditioning for all productions.
Matthew
Martinez (Munchkin)
An eighth grader,
making his Genesian debut, Matthew is currently only involved in the
Genesian Players, but as the year goes on he intends to get further
involved at Rummel. He would like to thank his sister Tori, a graduate of
Chapelle, for encouraging him to join The Genesian Players.
Jarod
Martinolich (Barrister
of the Munchkins) A
sophomore, this is Jarod's third performance as a Genesian. He made his
debut in Teahouse of the August Moon as the goat boy, and also
appeared in Lost In Yonkers. He
is involved in Student Council, and the Josh Tolbert Fan Club. He attended
St. Benilde Grammar School, where he was involved in plays.
Kasey
Mathews (Glinda
the Good Witch/
Aunt Em) A junior at
Chapelle and second-year Genesian, Kasey is looking forward to the
upcoming year. She has previously appeared in Teahouse
of the August
Moon. Kasey is involved in Ambassadors, Retreat Team, Student
Council, True Love Waits, NHS, and Mu Alpha Theta. She is vice president
of Thalians, Chapelle's Drama club. She would like to thank her parents
and little brother for supporting her.
Kenny
Mellor (Munchkin)
A freshman and second-year
Genesian, Kenny made his debut in Teahouse
of the August Moon. He is involved in Student Council, Baseball,
and Basketball. This performance is dedicated to his Uncle Charlie.
Justin
Mendoza (Soldier)
Justin is a freshman
in his second year at Rummel and is making his debut on the Genesian
stage. He attended Our Lady of Divine Providence for elementary school,
and he is currently involved in the Rummel Wrestling Team.
David
Morris (Technical
Crew) David,
a sophomore, is a member of the Rummel Soccer team. He dedicates his work
on this show to the memory of his friend, Brandon Talabock, who passed
away last month.
Kristen Myers (Munchkin,
Jitterbug, Oz Maiden) This is Kristen's first performance as a
Genesian Player. A senior at Chapelle, she is involved in Retreat Team, Chorale,
Mission Club and many other organizations. Kristen attended St. Ann
Grammar School. She is looking forward to a year of great Genesian
performances.

Oz Maiden) A Chapelle eighth grader, who previously attended St.
Benilde, Jessi is making her debut performance with the Genesian
Players. At Chapelle, she is involved in Beta Club, and C.A.V.E.

Oz Maiden ) A junior
at Cabrini, Christina is involved in Speech Team, Drama Club, Spanish
National Honor Society, and Student Council. This is her third performance
on the Genesian stage. An alumni of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Christina
dedicates this performance to her younger brother who helps her get
through the stresses of theatre!
Maile
Picou (Lullaby
League, Pointe Dancer) is a
junior at Archbishop Chapelle High school. She is a member of Dance
Factory's award-winning competitive dance team and an assistant teacher.
Maile currently sings in the St. Philip Neri Youth Choir and is the
Vice-President of St. Philip's CYO. She is also in Mission Club, the
Gifted and Talented program, and serves as Vice-President of Impressions.
Maile is the reigning Teen Miss Kenner and Teen Miss Westbank.

Jitterbug) As a Senior at
Chapelle, Chelsea is currently involved in Ambassadors, Student Council,

Soldier) Davis is a
sophomore, making his debut Genesian. He is involved in Student Council
and swimming. His hobbies include line-dancing, and he plays guitar for The Punes.

Rumney (Scarecrow)
Jimmy, a senior, is
appearing in his second show. You might have seen him as Captain Fisbee in
Teahouse of the August Moon.
He previously attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. He is also is involved
in Football, Basketball, Campus Ministry, and NHS.
Jessica
Salamin (Wicked
Witch of the West) Currently
a senior at Chapelle, Jessica is President of Thalians Drama Club. A two-year
Genesian, she debuted as Lotus Blossom in Teahouse
of
the August Moon and
was also seen as Aunt Gert in Lost
in Yonkers.
A graduate of St. Ann, Jessica dedicates this performance to her
parents, family, friends, and baby sister due in December.
Melissa
Scala (Munchkin,
Oz Maiden) Melissa is
a freshman at Chapelle in her first Genesian production. Melissa has
appeared in other plays including Guys and
Dolls. At Chapelle she
is involved in Pro-Life and Matthew 25. She previously attended St.
Benilde.
Laura
Schulze (Munchkin, Oz
Maiden) Laura is a freshman at Chapelle, and this is her Genesian
debut. At St. Benilde, she has appeared in other plays including Peter
Pan, Guys and Dolls, and The
King and I.
She is active in many Chapelle clubs, and she hopes to do as many
Genesian plays as possible!
Mark
Smith (Farmhand
& Jitterbug) A
senior, this is Mark's first year as a Genesian. He is also involved in R.A.I.D.E.R.
Entrepreneurs.
Nikki
Taylor (Props) Nikki is a senior at Chapelle where she is involved
in the Thalians, Drama club. She has also been involved in local theaters
although this is her first Genesian production. She previously attended
Our Lady of Divine Providence.
Donald
Williams (Joe
the Farmhand, Jitterbug, Soldier) A
faithful and loyal Raider, Donald is a senior looking forward to the
Genesian New York Theatre Tour at Mardi Gras time. Donald comes to Rummel
from Our Lady of Perpetual Help. His activities include Football,
Basketball, Track, Big Brothers, Key Club, Campus Ministry, and
Eucharistic Ministry. He's making his stage debut in this show.
