Quinn Asaro (Rufus Follet) Quinn is making his debut
on the Genesian Players’ Stage in this production. A freshman and a graduate
of St. Philip Neri, he is also involved in National Junior Honor Society
Science Olympiad, Key Club and enjoys baseball and volleyball. When asked
about his role as Rufus, Quinn says, “shortness prevails!” Jessica Bertheaud (Sally Follet) Jessica is making her debut with the Genesians in All The Way Home. A Cabrini High sophomore, she has been class president for the past two years. A T.H. Harris graduate, Jessica plans on majoring in psychology after high school. Ross Britz (First Boy) Ross is an eighth grader who previously attended Atonement Lutheran. A member of the eighth grade soccer team, he is making his debut with the Genesians. He looks forward to appearing in many more Genesian productions. Keith Claverie (Andrew Lynch) A sophomore, Keith is a dedicated Genesian in his third year. Last year was a banner year for Keith, appearing as Charlie Brown in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown and Joe Crowell in Our Town. This year, he appeared in Circle. Keith has worked in the Genesian tech crew, and as a general all-around helper. He is president of the CYO at St. Ann’s, his grade school, and he assists in coaching sports there. Keith wishes all his fellow cast and crew members to “break a leg.” Sean Collins (Jay Follet) This show makes Sean’s debut on the Genesian stage although he has previous experience on the stage of Rivertown Repertory Theatre. Genesians is the first club this senior has joined at Rummel, in addition to his one-year of Wrestling. Sean hopes to attend the University of New Orleans and study communications. Stacey Denham (Sally Follet) A senior at Ridgewood, Stacey is active in cheerleading and various clubs. She previously attended Memorial Baptist. This is Stacey’s debut with the Genesians and she is grateful for the opportunity. After high school, she plans to attend Louisiana College as a Communication Arts major. Craig Denny (Props Master) A senior, Craig started his Genesian career as an usher. He made his debut in Our Town as Farmer Howie Newsome. Since Last Night of Ballyhoo, he has been actively involved in props, serving as Props Master for Circle. Reed Dowie (Joel Lynch) A senior, Reed is a four-year Genesian, appearing on stage for the third time. His stage debut was as the Constable in Our Town. He was recruited to work spotlight for a musical and has wanted to appear in front of it ever since. A true Raider, he is involved in Raider Hope, Campus Ministry, Eucharistic Minster, Raider’s Digest, and is Student Council Executive Board Treasurer. He dedicates this performance to his parents who have been most supportive of all his activities over the past four years. Reed previously attended Kehoe France. Ryan Garrity (Student Director) A three-year Genesian, All The Way Home marks Ryan’s third backstage exeperiece with the club. He previously worked as Props Master for Rumors and Student Vocal Director for You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. He appeared on stage in Meet Me In St. Louis, Our Town, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, and Circle. Ryan is also involved in Campus Ministry, Choir, Admissions, Raider’s Digest, and Webcrew. Serving as Executive Board Secretary of the Student Council does take up most of his time. He plans to attend Loyola University as a Voice and Journalism major. Chris Gordy (Ralph Follet) Chris previously appeared as Richards in Circle. As a regular performer of stand-up comedy in New Orleans, he revels in his role as Ralph. Chris plans to major in theatre in college and also study film. He previously attended St. Christopher and would like to thank Mr. Guajardo for being a father figure to him. Lauren Guarino (Jessie Follet) A Dominican junior, Lauren made her Genesian debut as Patty in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. At Dominican, she is involved in drama, National Honor Society Mu Alpha Theta, Tri-M, choir, and Student Recruitment. Lauren previously attended St. Benilde. She would like to dedicate her performance to her Granny. Mary Lee Harris (Aunt Sadie) Mary Lee follows her father, mother, and two sisters into The Genesian Players. An Ursuline Academy sophomore, she was awarded the Best Supporting Actress Geni as an eighth grader. Mary Lee has previously appeared in Meet Me In St. Louis, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Circle. At Ursuline, she is involved in Choir and Student Ambassadors. Elizabeth Hollinger (Mary Follet) Liz is a senior at St. Martin’s Episcopal where she is production editor of the literary magazine The Lyre. She is also a member of the soccer team. Liz made her debut in Brighton Beach Memoirs as Laurie and has also appeared as Emily in Our Town. She most recently appeared as Juliet in the Jesuit production of Romeo and Juliet. She would like to thank her family, friends, and all the Genesians who have made this such a memorable experience. Richard Houidobre (Sound) A sophomore, Richard first worked with the Genesians for The Last Night of Ballyhoo and has also helped with lighting and backstage work for Circle. He hopes to one day appear on stage. Rachel Hudson (Aunt Sadie) A sophomore at Chapelle, Rachel is actively involved in Swim Team and Retreat Team. A graduate of St. Mary Magdalen, she is making her debut in All The Way Home. She plans to pursue a career as a criminal defense attorney. Dayna Johnson (Catherine Lynch) Dayna, a sophomore at Chapelle, is making her Genesian debut in All The Way Home. After seven years of dancing, she decided to pursue acting. She has previously appeared in Stone Soup and 12 Dancing Princesses at her elementary school. St. Ann. Dayna has also appeared in The Odd Couple and The Wisteria Bush at Chapelle. Matthew Kalb (John Henry Follet) This is Matthew’s first Genesian performance. A senior, he is also involved in Project Raider Hope and activities at his church. Matthew has always wanted to participate in Genesians and thanks God for the opportunity. He previously attended Riverside. Jonathan McCreary (Jay Follet) . This is Jonathan’s debut with The Genesian Players. A senior, he is also involved in the Football Team and the Track Team. He joined Genesians because it was something he always wanted to do. Jonathan previously attended St. Frances Cabrini.Ben Picone (Props) A three-year Genesian and senior, Ben has taken part in many productions including Rumors, Meet Me In St. Louis, Our Town and Last Night of Ballyhoo. Circle was Ben’s on stage debut He is also involved in Mock Trial, Student Council, Big Brothers and is Varsity Basketball manager. He attended St. Angela Merici. Shawn Poché (Ralph Follet) A senior, Shawn made his debut in Circle as Keifer. He liked it so much, he tried out for All The Way Home. Along with The Genesian Players, Shawn is actively involved in Baseball, National Honor Society, Big Brothers, and Operation HeadStart. He hopes to attend Tulane University next year. Shawn previously attended St. Agnes. Bradley Schmidt (Second Boy) Bradley is a freshman making his debut on the Genesian Stage. The former St. Matthew the Apostle student hopes to continue with the Genesians throughout his high school career. Stephen Schmit (Jim Wilson) Stephen is making his debut with the Genesians in All The Way Home. A Rummel Soccer Team member, he recently graduated from St. Ann. Jason Schulmbrecht (Jim Wilson) This show marks Jason’s debut performance with the Genesians. He is a graduate of St. Edward the Confessor. Melissa Stoltz (Great Grandmaw) This Chapelle junior is making her Genesian debut in All The Way Home. She is active in Student Council, Pro-Life Club, and True Love Waits. Melissa previously attended St. Lawrence the Martyr. Michael Tramontin (Andrew Lynch) Making his third appearance on the Genesian Stage, this sophomore made his debut as Snoopy. His is an enthusiastic Genesian Player and wishes all his cast and crew members a good show. Michael previously attended Kehoe France. Javier Vazquez (Third Boy) Javier makes his debut on the Genesian Stage in this production. A graduate of St. Mary Magdalen, he is currently a sophomore. Javier is also involved in French Club, Mu Alpha Theta, and National Honor Society. Away from school, he enjoys soccer, basketball and volleyball. Kristen Williams (Mary Follet) A junior at Chapelle, Kristen made her debut as Miss Casewell in Mousetrap. She student directed Meet Me In St. Louis, played Mrs. Webb in Our Town, Sunny in The Last Night of Ballyhoo, and Kristen in Circle. Kristen would like to thank God for her talent and her parents for their support. She previously attended Lake Castle Elementary. Dorothy Wood (Props) A Chapelle sophomore, Dorothy has been with the Genesians since the Christmas Show ‘99. She has served as an usher and this marks her first show working props. Dorothy previously attended St. Rita Elementary. Jacquelyn Zook (Aunt Hannah) After moving around eight times in her 17 years, Jacquelyn is now enrolled at her third high school, St. Martin’s Episcopal, where she is a senior. Excited to make her Genesian debut in All The Way Home, she is no stranger to theatre with previous performances in Hello Dolly and Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up. When she is not dancing on stage, Jacquelyn enjoys running for the Cross Country and Track Teams. She plans to pursue physical therapy, political science, law, or theatre in college. |
