Cast Bios
Forrest Acrey
Forrest is in his third year as a Genesian Player. He made his debut
in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Guitar accompanist in the
choir, Forrest's chief activity at Rummel is the Genesian Players. He has
worked on tech crews for several shows and comes to Rummel from St. Philip
Neri
Tiffany Ameen
In the role of Jennifer, Tiffany is appearing in her fifth Genesian
production. The four year Genesian is a senior at Chapelle and us
tremendously busy. The Genesian Players are happy that their candidate for
the court of Homecoming 2000 was elected queen. Tiffany is involved in The
Guardian Angels, Senior Class Secretary, Student Council, Varsity
Cheerleader, Morning Prayer Service, Retreat Team, True Love Waits, and is
a member of the chorale. She plans to attend Texas Christian University as
a musical theater major. A former John Quincy Adams student, Tiffany would
like to give thanks to all her friends and family for their support, but
most of all she wants to thank God for the many opportunities she has
enjoyed.
Amie Bonomolo
A Chapelle senior, Amie is making her Genesian debut in Circle. She
is the reigning Miss Teen Louisiana and is on the Rummel Homecoming Court
2000. Amie brings her dancing talents to this show and plans to continue
her study of dance in a California University. At Chapelle, Amie is in the
Student Council, Retreat Team, Guardian Angels, Student Ambassadors and
many other activities. She attended St. Catherine of Sienna.
Randy Boudreaux
A sophomore, Randy had his first theatrical experience at St. Benilde
Grade School in The King and I. You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown was
his Genesian debut. Athletically inclined, he is involved in baseball and
football in addition to his Rummel activities of Latin Club and Key Club
and Fooseball Team.
Kaila Baratcher
A Chapelle junior, Kaila's is making her Genesian debut. She is no
stranger to the theatre, however, since she has previously performed at
Ascension of Our Lord in LaPlace and community theatre. At Chapelle, Kaila
is involved in Excel, and Literary Guild. Kaila is involved in soccer at
Lafreniere.
Grace Caminita
The whole idea of make believe is Grace's attraction to the theater.
This Chapelle sophomore has performed there and at St. Christopher
Elementary. At Chapelle, Grace is dedicated to Cross Country. Her grade
school was St. Christopher.
Michelle Cenac
Michelle is currently a freshman at Chapelle. She is involved in
Ambassadors, Thalians, Quiz Bowl, Student Council, and Key Club. This play
marks her Genesian debut. She previously attended Elizabeth Ann Seton.
Keith Claverie
A sophomore, Keith is a dedicated Genesian in his third year. Last year
was a banner year for Keith, appearing as Charlie Brown in You're a
Good Man, Charlie Brown and Joe Crowell in Our Town. Keith has worked
on Genesian tech crew, house crews, and is a general all-around helper. He
is president of the CYO at St. Ann's, his grade school, and he assists in
coaching sports there. Keith wishes all his fellow cast members to
"break a leg."
Reed Dowie
A senior, Reed is a four year Genesian, appearing on stage for the
second time. His stellar debut was as the Constable in Our Town. He
was recruited to work the spot light for one of our musicals, and has
wanted to be in front of the spotlight ever since. A true Raider, Reed is
very involved in Rummel activities including Raider Hope, Big Campus
Ministry, Eucharistic Minister, Raiders Digest, and Student Council
Executive Board Treasurer. He dedicates this performance to his parents
who have been most supportive of all his activities over the past four
years. He previously attended Ecole Classique.
Chris Emery
This is Chris' first stage experience. In addition to the
Genesians,
the Rummel junior is also active in Campus Ministry and Student Council.
Before coming to Rummel he attended Ecole Classique.
Melissa Felder
Melissa is greatly enthusiastic about her appearance in Circle. She
made her debut in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. This Mount
Carmel sophomore has recently performed with the Jefferson Performing Arts
Society and in Mount Carmel musicals. She attended St. Benilde Elementary.
Alicia Frame
Alicia is a very active theater bug. A sophomore at
Chapelle, she has
appeared at Rivertown Repertory Theater and Carlone's Dinner Theater.
Alicia is involved in her church's youth choir and youth group activities
as well as several Chapelle clubs. She attended Crescent City Baptist for
her elementary education.
Brad Fusilier
A graduate of St. Rita Elementary, Brad is a senior. This production is
his Genesian debut. Other than the Genesian Players, his job at River
Ridge Veterinary Clinic occupies his free time.
Ryan Garrity
Ryan has been a Genesian Player for three years. He made his debut as
Mr. Dodge in Meet Me In St. Louis. Since then, he has appeared in
Our Town and The Last Night of Ballyhoo. Ryan also served as Prop
Master for Ballyhoo. He previously attended Harry Hurst and plans
to pursue voice and Journalism majors at Loyola University.
Chris Gordy
Making his Genesian debut, Chris revels in his role as Richards. A
regular performer of standup in the New Orleans area, Circle is his
Genesian debut. A senior, he is involved in Key Club, Choir, WRHS-TV, and
is a football trainer. A St. Christopher Elementary graduate, he plans to
attend Boston University next year.
Justin Groetsch
A senior, Justin's aspiration is to be a world renowned film actor.
Toward this end, he plans to attend either UCLA or USC to major in film
and acting. A former St. Benilde Elementary student, Circle is his
debut Genesian performance.
Kelly Gros
Playing "dress up" and "let's pretend" led to
Kelly's love of theatre activity. A sophomore at Chapelle, she has been
involved in acting lessons, drama camp plays, and creating commercials
presented between plays at drama camp. She attended St. Mary Magdalene
grade school.
Lauren Guarino
A Dominican High School junior, Lauren made her Genesian debut in You're
a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She has participated in numerous musicals
at Dominican and is in Dominican's Choir/Chorale. She is also involved in
the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Tri-M. A four year member
of the Jefferson Performing Arts Society's Youth Chorale, Lauren dedicates
her performance in Circle to Adam Carl, Linds, Melly, Mark, J.C.,
and C.M.L. She previously attended St. Benilde Elementary.
Matthew Haar
A sophomore, Matthew made his Genesian debut in Our Town as the
double cast paper boy. He is an Abbott and Costello aficionado and loves
to write. A St. Christopher grade school student, he plans to make writing
his career.
Mary Lee Harris
Mary Lee follows her father, mother, and two sisters into the Genesian
Players. A sophomore at Ursuline Academy, she was awarded the Best
Supporting Actress Geni as an eighth grader. Circle marks the
beginning of her third year with the Genesians. At Ursuline, Mary Lee is
in the Choir and Student Ambassadors.
Lauren Hatty
This Chapelle senior has been performing with Genesians for years.
Don't recognize her? That's because Lauren has performed in the musical
ensemble that played for our musicals and is a loyal member of the Raider
Band. Circle is her on stage debut. At Chapelle, Lauren is involved
in Chorale, Impressions, Showstoppers, and True Love Waits. She attended
St. Edward the Confessor.
Stanley Ho
An involved senior, Stan is making his Genesian debut in Circle. He
has always wanted to participate in the drama club but has had no time
until now. His involvement in Track, Student Council, Campus Ministry, and
Operation Head Start keep him very busy. Stan plans a college career at
Tulane University with a major in Psychology. He previously attended
Memorial Baptist.
Travis Laurendine
Appearing in his first play ever, Travis is a junior who came to Rummel
from St. Edward the Confessor. As a young lad, he spent his time lifting
weights and playing "Connect Four" (travel edition.) Travis is
an officer in Student Council and Spanish Club. He is also active in
Campus Ministry.
Chris Manson
This Rummel freshman has appeared on the stages of the Rivertown
Repertory and Le Petit theatres. The former St. Christopher student made
his Genesian debut as the paper boy in Our Town.
Elizabeth McGhee
A Chapelle junior, Elizabeth is employed at Crescent City Moving and
Storage. When she is not rehearsing with Circle, her debut Genesian show,
Elizabeth is at Chapelle working with Impressions or at her church working
in the youth group and youth choir. She attended Crescent City Baptist.
Juan Nogueira
A junior Genesian, Juan is making his debut in Circle. His
hobbies are break dancing and working out - at one time, he bench pressed
145 pounds. Juan is president of the Spanish Club and is homeroom
representative.
Shawn Poché
Shawn loves challenges, so he auditioned for Circle. He makes
his debut in this production but he has many other activities at Rummel. A
varsity baseball player, this senior is president of the National Honor
Society. He wants it known that he has no previous stage experience. He
attended St. Agnes for grade school.
Ben Picone
Although Ben has never appeared before an audience, he is not without
stage experience. This senior has served on tech crews, building crews,
and house crews for the Genesian Players since his sophomore year. He's
looking forward to more performing. Ben is involved in basketball, Big
Brothers, Mock Trial, and Student Council. He comes to Rummel from St.
Angela Merici Grade School.
Adam Preveau
A second year Genesian, Adam, a sophomore, makes his on stage debut in
this show. A former Our Lady of Divine Providence student, he is involved
in Mock Trial, Football, and Campus Ministry. Adam dedicates his
performance to his mother, Jan, who died in January '98.
Cherie Rankin
This Chapelle senior is another Genesian Player on Homecoming Court
2000 and like many of' her cohorts, this show is her debut. As one reads
Cherie's Chapelle activities, one wonders how she found time for the
Genesians. She is involved in Student Council, serving as Secretary of the
Executive Board, Campus Ministry, Retreat Team, Guardian Angels, and
morning prayer service. She is looking forward to more plays with the
Genesian Players and she give thanks to her Aunt Cathie for all the
inspiration throughout the years. She plans to attend Texas A & M to
major in Broadcasting Communications and to minor in Political Science.
Cherie is from John Quincy Adams.
Laura Richard
Laura has been a member of the Raider family all her life - her mom and
dad teach at Rummel. A Chapelle sophomore, this is her Genesian debut. At
Chapelle, she is on the Retreat Team, Student Council, Cross Country Team,
Choir, and is a Student Ambassador. Her grade school was St. Edward the
Confessor.
Rachel Schmidt
A junior at Chapelle, Rachel is making her Genesian debut in Circle.
At Chapelle, she appeared in Home Alone, or Are You? and is a member
of the Choir and Impressions. Rachel's theater interest led to acting
lessons at U.N.O. She previously attended St. Christopher Elementary.
Clé Torres
C16 is very happy to be making her Genesian debut She is a Mount Carmel
junior who has experience on the MCA stage as well as the stage of JPAS. A
St. Edward graduate, she has been a member of District Honor Chorus for
three years. She says: "I am thankful to my parents for their love
and support and I would like to thank the Genesians for welcoming to their
theater. Break a leg, everyone!"
Michael Tramontin
Making his second appearance on the Genesian stage, this freshman made
his debut as Snoopy. He is a most enthusiastic Genesian Player and wishes
all his cast members a good show. His grade school was Kehoe-France.
Drew Treuting
Last year's Snoopy in You're a Good Man,
Charlie Brown was Drew's debut performance for the Genesians. As a
sophomore, he is Student Council Secretary/Treasurer, and is a member of
the Raider Band, Campus Ministry, Lasallian Youth and the Fooseball team.
He attended St. Charles Borromeo.
Maurine Wall
This Dominican sophomore dedicates this performance to her parents and
friends in thanks for their unending support. Maurine made her Genesian
debut in Charlie Brown. She is active in Dominican shows and is a
member of Jefferson Performing Arts Society. She previously attended St.
Christopher
Kristen Williams
A Chapelle junior, Kristen is beginning her third year as a Genesian
Player. Last season she won the Geni for Best Supporting Actress for the
role of Mrs. Webb in Our Town. Genesian audiences will recognize
her from her performances in Mousetrap and Last Night of
Ballyhoo. True Love Waits, Ambassadors, and president of her class are
activities that keep her busy when she is not on the Genesian stage.
Kristen attended Lake Castle Grammar School.
